Alongside this announcement, the company will also be teaming with former WWE World champion Dalip Singh, better known as The Great Khali. Singh’s role alongside TNA will be to search and find new TNA talent. Singh currently operates a wrestling school in India, which makes him a great fit for TNA’s talent search. Singh will be joining TNA Vice President John Gaburick on the Talent Search.

“Our phenomenal partners at Sony SIX have been tremendous in recognizing the powerful reach of professional wrestling and we are thrilled TNA programming has contributed to the network’s ranking as the most watched sports channel in all of India, ” said TNA President Dixie Carter in a media release. “We are also proud of the relationships we are forming with our fans across India and we are honored to travel our incredible roster to India for three historic global live events emanating from Mahabali Shera’s home.”
TNA’s tour of India will take place on December 2nd through the 4th with the final night of the tour airing live. That event will be billed as One Night Only: Mumbai. The PPV show will air live in India and several other countries. There will be taping delays in other countries, including the United States.
To produce the tour, TNA will be partnering with their Indian television partner SONY SIX. India has become of mass important to the future of TNA because of the extremely strong TV deal that will roll over in January 2016. This deal will become one of TNA’s most profitable TV deals in the company’s history.
