In 2018, The Undertaker has already worked two matches on the grandest stage of them all and at the Greatest Royal Rumble. He squashed John Cena at WrestleMania and won a Casket Match against Rusev in Jeddah. The Deadman appears to be in excellent shape and the WWE Universe has been speculating that he could wrestle a lot more this year.
According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, the company has a huge WWE live event planned for July 7th inside Madison Square Garden. The arena’s website has listed The Undertaker for the show. It was implied that he will be working a match. Unfortunately, his opponent hasn’t been revealed yet, but that may happen as early as tonight on Raw.

As of this writing, a rematch between Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax for the Raw Women’s Championship is listed. A Triple Threat Match for the IC Title between Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Elias is mentioned also. WWE officials are planning for the show to be as big as possible, which is why The Undertaker will be making another in-ring return for it.
The event will be a live event for the Raw brand. The Undertaker’s opponent is unlikely to be from SmackDown Live as result, so the WWE Universe will continue to speculate about who WWE officials will choose to face him. Before the rumors start to get too out of control, it’s important to remember The Phenom is likely to go over in a short match.
Someone like Braun Strowman could be a great choice, but the odds of The Undertaker losing are extremely low. Not only that, but he’s expected to work with a heel. One few real possibilities could be Kevin Owens or even Samoa Joe. Until WWE officials reveal their choice, the only thing the WWE Universe can do is have a lot of fun speculating.
