We have some sad news to report, as an independent wrestler died in a tragic way over the weekend.

According to a report from CBS Philadelphia, a husband and wife were found dead in a Chester County home on Friday morning from an apparent murder-suicide. Wrestling Inc reported that the man was 52 year old Chuck Williams, better known in the independent wrestling community as Rockin’ Rebel.

From the report:

Rebel is a Northeast indie wrestling veteran and is called a “Northeast Legend” by some. He is best known for his work with CZW and ECW. Rebel, who was inducted into the Mid-Penn Wrestling Alliance Hall of Fame in 2015, was trained by WWE Hall of Famers The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, and made his pro wrestling debut back in 1988.
