Earlier today, it seemed like there was some surprising news regarding Jack Swagger’s status with WWE.

For most of today, the following tweet made a lot of the WWE Universe believe that Jack Swagger was having his last day as a WWE wrestler, and he’d be leaving after tonight’s WWE live event in Glasgow:

The news came out of nowhere, which caused quite the stir online that Jack Swagger was finished with the company, but that has now been revealed as a false assumption.

According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, what Swagger’s tweet was referring to was the current European tour coming to an end and was in no way a commentary on “The All-American American’s” status with WWE.

The report is claiming that Swagger is still very much with the company, but none of this has changed his position on WWE programming that is still very limited.

What’s most interesting about the rumor catching fire today is that it brought a lot of support to Swagger and the general feeling towards him is that he’s a good wrestler who is one of the most underutilized performers on the roster. Hopefully, this mistake will lead to some kind of a push for him.

Do you think Jack Swagger deserves a push?
