Last night on SmackDown, Becky Lynch technically defeated Alexa Bliss in the awaited match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, Bliss tapped out to end the match, but her foot wasn’t seen by the referee on the bottom rope.

On paper, Becky retains the championship and Bliss was able to save face because she technically had her foot on the ropes. That leaves their conflict unresolved and allows the feud to continue, which is exactly what WWE will be doing after “Survivor Series.”

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, the feud between Bliss and Lynch will continue through “Survivor Series” and into “TLC” in December. Their next match for the title will most likely have some kind of stipulation to give the match a new angle.

Alexa Bliss has just begun to gain some real heel heat and her character continues to build with the audience alongside Becky Lynch as her foil.

While it’s not likely she wins the title from her, she’ll be able to build her heel persona and become a bigger part of the division. Eventually, Eva Marie will return to WWE television, so she’ll have to compete with Bliss’ position as the top heel on SmackDown.
