It was a very obvious situation, so WWE decided not to waste any time and to set the main event of “Money in the Bank” first thing on tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw.
After Seth Rollins made his return and addressed the WWE Universe in Baltimore, Roman Reigns came out to confront his “brother” and then Shane McMahon came out to calm the situation and set the match.
In less than four weeks, Roman Reigns will defend the WWE World Championship that he earned against Seth Rollins, who never officially lost the same title at “Money in the Bank” on June 19th.
The match was a shoe-in, but it’s going to be a fantastic match that we should have gotten to see at last year’s “Survivor Series” PPV. Their match at “Money in the Bank” will just have an additional six months of anticipation.
However, who is going to win is a complex issue that Seth Rollins made a little bit easier but establishing himself as a heel almost immediately after addressing the crowd tonight on Raw.
The feud will most likely last beyond next month’s PPV no matter who wins, so there are many possibilities for their feud, especially if WWE uses this opportunity to do something truly unique.
Do you think this is a perfect spot for Reigns and Rollins to have a double switch?
