It’s hard to believe that The Boss even thought about getting fired, but the truth is that Sasha Banks didn’t magically develop her gimmick overnight.
As it turns out Banks believed that she was going to get fired very early in her WWE career because she hadn’t established any kind of character to make her unique.
According to a recent interview with host Will Power, Sasha Banks disclosed the earlier part of her career before she came “The Boss” of NXT. Apparently, it took her awhile to find her confidence, but we all know what happened once she found it.
You can watch the full interview right here. Below is what she said about getting fired:
“I felt in my heart that I was on the verge of being fired because I didn’t have a character. It was the worst feeling in the world.”
It really makes you think about all the talent that has come and gone over the years that WWE has tried to develop, but no one could find the right character to take everything the performer has and “turn it up to eleven” as a lot of former WWE stars say.
Do you think Sasha Banks will win the Raw Women’s Championship at “Hell in a Cell?”
