Sasha Banks has been noticeably absent from WWE programming. The WWE Universe was extremely curious about why that was, but then it was reported recently that she was purposely being kept off WWE TV for “long-term storyline purposes.”

Many people are questioning why the powers that be would want The Boss off WWE programming at all, but that reasoning at least showed that there was some time of a plan for her long-term success.

According to a recent report from Wrestlezone.com, Banks has also suffered a head injury of some kind that is believed to be concussion-related.

The report is claiming that she suffered her head injury during a WWE live event in Charlottesville, Virginia on May 15th.

The incident has been described as a “fluke injury” when she was accidentally kneed in the head by the referee. There has been a rumor that the referee in question was Justin King, but that has not been confirmed.

The severity of the injury hasn’t been confirmed either, but the most likely injury given the incident would be a concussion. If that is confirmed, it’ll likely leave her off WWE live events for the foreseeable future and may even impact those “long-term storyline” plans that were planned for her.

Do you think Sasha Banks should become the first woman to win the “Money in the Bank briefcase?”
