Last week, there was a report about what Shane McMahon has been doing behind the scenes for WWE. Thus far, he’s being considered an on-air personality on paper.

However, he’s also an advisor of sorts and is giving his opinions and shooting around certain ideas on top storylines, which isn’t going to hurt anyone.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, there was an example of that creative input on Monday Night Raw this week.

Apparently, it was Shane O’Mac’s idea for the time machine segment with The New Day that led them to enter the Bygone Era as a way to further the feud with The Vaudevillians before “Extreme Rules.”

That is just one example of what Shane has been bringing to the table behind the scenes in WWE, but this role can continue to expand, and we don’t know if he’ll eventually take a full-time executive role with the company again.

Obviously, Shane has a lot of say into his own character on television and his “sibling rivalry” with Stephanie on Raw. Their dynamic is clearly going to lead to a feud between the McMahon children sooner or later.

Do you think WWE should consider a full brand split when the Shane and Stephanie relationship goes south?
