Over the past few months, Bobby Lashley has feuded with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn separately. Those conflicts came to quick ends with Owens and Zayn being “injured” by Lashley on WWE television. Behind the scenes, both men suffered injuries that required surgery and are costing them months of action. This has led to a heel turn for Lashley.
As a result of all this, both Kevin and Sami are really likely to return to WWE television as babyfaces to seek revenge against Bobby Lashley. A lot of fans are excited to see that happen, but the WWE Universe still doesn’t know exactly when either man is returning to action. According to a report from RingSideNews, it’s much sooner than you thought.

Sami Zayn has already been absent and recovering from his injuries for months. Zayn suffered two torn rotator cuffs. The extent of his injuries is expected to keep him out of action until February. Kevin Owens is suffering from a knee injury and his timetable for a return is undetermined. The most optimistic timetable for Owens is in early January.
The best timeline would have Owens return for the Royal Rumble. Zayn’s recovery may see him return at the event as well, but he may have to wait a few more weeks. There’s a lot of hope for both men to return sooner rather than later. For Sami Zayn, his return could elevate him into a higher role that may see him win his first WWE championship.
Unfortunately, there are too many questions regarding Owens and Zayn’s return to the ring next year. The WWE Universe can wait patiently knowing their returns will have a huge impact on “The Road to WrestleMania 35.” It’s just gonna be a few more months.
