Rumor Mill: Wrestlemania 32 – The Rock vs. Triple H

The possibility of Triple H vs. The Rock taking place at Wrestlemania has been speculated about for a few years now. The rumors of that match-up caught some steam after Wrestlemania 31 due to the segment between The Game and Stephanie McMahon against The Rock and Ronda Rousey.

The idea gained a lot more traction after the fun backstage segment was done between the two rivals on the fifteenth anniversary of Smackdown. Now, a report is creating a lot more speculation that The Rock vs. Triple H is being booked for this year’s Wrestlemania in Dallas.

Yesterday, the news spread that WWE is moving forward with some of their major Wrestlemania 32 plans and written into the card of now is The Rock vs. Triple H.

That news makes sense because it comes right in the middle of other rumors such as The Rock being involved in a huge WWE storyline by the end of the year and WWE making significant changes to their Wrestlemania plans.

The Authority vs. The Rock is a natural rivalry considering all the history of The People’s Champion and The Game. Both men arguably made their careers with one another during their feud for the IC title and then the WWE Championship in 1999 and 2000.

There is only speculation of this match taking place in Dallas this April. However, if a feud is to develop to rekindle The Rock and Triple H rivalry, it’s expected to begin soon.
