Some months ago, it was reported that Roman Reigns is staying on top of the WWE ladder because of his numbers and his merchandise sales.
However, some new information is being shared, and it’s being reported the value of the WWE Championship has “never been lower.”
According to information from the Wrestling Observer, last year’s numbers for house show attendance and attendance for Monday Night Raw were roughly 5,600 for the former and 8,400 for the latter respectively.
This year, house shows averaged 3,900 in attendance and Raw is at roughly 9,000 for attendance. While Raw is up roughly seven percent, house shows are said to be down thirty percent, which is a substantial drop.
Apparently, some numbers during a recent tour for WWE were taken, and the numbers for Dean Ambrose were essentially identical to those of Roman Reigns, which is a big statement if it turns out to be true,
Forgetting all the numbers, what this is saying is Ambrose is being considered an equal draw to Reigns despite the latter being booked very strongly, being the top “face”, and holding the WWE Championship.
That says a lot about the connection Dean Ambrose has as a face with the WWE Universe and Roman Reigns’ drawing ability as a WWE Champion.
“Money in the Bank” is this Sunday and while it’s being reported that Reigns will retain the title, the question has to be asked if WWE is willing to make a change sooner rather than later.
Do you think Dean Ambrose should become the WWE Champion?
