When Sting was first announced as the first entrant into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame, the general assumption was there was no one else in this industry better suited to induct him into the Hall of Fame than “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.

Based on their history together and friendship, it just seemed like a no-brainer. But, since nothing was announced that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from speculating on who will have the honor of inducting Sting. Well today, this issue can finally be put to bed.

The Nature Boy revealed in the latest edition of his podcast “WOOOOO Nation” that he is officially inducting Sting into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before Wrestlemania 32. You can listen to the full podcast episode right here.

Flair will be doing more than just inducting Sting this year; he’s done a great job as a manager for his daughter and WWE Divas Champion Charlotte, but it’s unclear if that role will stop after Charlotte drops the championship.

So far, The Godfather will also be inducted by infamous WWE tag team APA by both members John Bradshaw Layfield and Ron Simmons.

The Fabulous Freebirds will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but there are likely to be a few more names to fill out the night.

Do you think Ric Flair is the right choice to induct Sting?
