At the “Royal Rumble”, Sami Zayn made a shocking return to WWE as the number twenty entrant in the match and eliminated Kevin Owens for a small dose of sweet revenge against his rival.

Although it was expected that Zayn would be making his full transition to the main roster after Wrestlemania 32, it appears as if WWE has other plans for him.

According to Wrestling-Edge.com, Sami Zayn is scheduled to wrestle at WrestleMania 32. He is also booked for WWE’s European tour in April.

There are a lot of different ways that the powers that be could book Sami, but the most likely way is with Kevin Owens since their rivalry goes on unfinished from NXT.

The events of the “Royal Rumble” were probably a test to see how the WWE Universe would react to Owens vs. Zayn and to provide a nice treat for fans that watch NXT.

It seems like WWE’s people were impressed because Owens is the Intercontinental Champion again and now Zayn is set to transition to the main roster. It seems very likely that we’ll be getting Owens vs. Zayn after WWE Roadblock provides an end to Big Show vs. Owens.
