Quarterfinals of WWE Championship Tournament Revealed

This week’s Thursday Night Smackdown saw the rest of the first round matches from the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Kalisto had a surprising win over Ryback and Neville won a very good match against King Barrett.

The following matches are set for the quarterfinal round of the tournament:

Roman Reigns vs. Cesaro.

Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio.

Kevin Owens vs. Neville.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose.

Next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will feature the next round of matches. Reigns vs. Cesaro is sure to be a great match. There are a lot of people hoping that WWE pulls a swerve and gives Cesaro the win.

Kalisto got a surprising win over Ryback on Smackdown this week and now he’s got a match with the United States Champion Alberto Del Rio on Raw next week. A win for Kalisto means more than it would for Del Rio.

Kevin Owens is gaining a lot of momentum in the tournament and a win over Neville will set him up perfectly against the winner of Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose.

The semifinals and finals will take place at “Survivor Series” and the winner will become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
