Let me make something clear. I’m a huge fan of Dolph Ziggler. It’s not an easy thing to admit, but his window to elevate himself to the main event level of WWE has passed him by.

It’s not entirely his fault. It’s a strange combination of booking and was disparaging things that Dolph had to say during interviews over the past few years. Either way, it’s very clear that he’s going to remain in the midcard until he hangs up the boots, but that doesn’t mean his career is over, and he still can’t accomplish new things.

The problem that Ziggler is going to face in the midcard is he’s done almost everything. He’s been a United States Champion. He’s a four-time Intercontinental Champion, but he’s never been a great tag team wrestler.

He won a WWE Tag Team Championship years ago when he was in the Spirit Squad, but he hasn’t had that run with the WWE Tag Team titles in his singles career.

There are a lot of choices for partners, but my thinking is he should turn heel. Dolph has been a face since 2013, and he’s not really thriving as a good guy right now. He feels bland to me, so changing his character up may give him some new life, especially in the midcard.

The fact is there are just so many better options for tag team partners if Ziggler turns heel. Personally, I’d love to see Tyler Breeze become his partner and bring back the arrogance to the Ziggler character that made him compelling in the first place. There’s also Neville if Ziggler is to stay face.

Regardless of the heel or face argument, I really believe that the tag team division is the place for Ziggler to focus on right now. WWE is putting a lot of effort into their tag team division right now. It’s the place to be, and I think Ziggler would add a lot to it as a heel or a face.

Do you think Dolph Ziggler should turn heel?
