The curious case of Damien Sandow is still such a mystery. Just over a year ago, Sandow was tremendously over, and it was a huge moment when he finally turned on The Miz at Wrestlemania.

He could have survived losing the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but his television time was cut dramatically, and then he went into a strange Macho Man impersonation character that failed quickly.

“The Intellectual Savior of the Masses” hasn’t been featured on WWE television much at all since then. It’s confusing because the WWE Universe clearly still supports him.

At Wrestlemania 32, he got some attention during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and the Dallas crowd let it be known that they still remembered Damien Sandow.

Recently on Twitter, Sandow responded to some fans who wanted to know where he has been and if he’ll be back on television soon. The following conversations took place on Twitter:

With his level of support from the WWE Universe, he could return to television on a regular basis at any time and be a valuable asset to the midcard. He could immediately be placed in the United States or Intercontinental title hunt. It’s just a shame to see someone so charismatic and likable go to waste on the bench.
