A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Charlotte Flair has been working through a huge and unique injury. Apparently, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion ruptured her breast implant and it’s going to require surgery to heal. She’s been working through the injury for months, but Charlotte didn’t want to miss the grandest stage of them all.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, “The Nature Girl” will be taking care of the issue and getting surgery after Money in the Bank. On paper, the fans shouldn’t expect her on SmackDown Live for some time while she heals. WWE officials have also pulled Charlotte from the company’s tour of Japan at the end of the month.

Flair has been enjoying a highly successful babyface run since her move to SmackDown Live last year. However, she’s already reached the summit on the blue brand. After four great years on the main roster, Charlotte has accomplished so much that it has become a lot harder to find something to challenge her and keep her character going in WWE.

After breaking Asuka’s undefeated streak on the grandest stage of them all, the rumor mill began to speculate that Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey is in the works for next year’s event in New York. There’s also some speculation that match could be the main event of WrestleMania 35. That would be an epic moment in wrestling history.

How Charlotte honored her late brother with a tattoo: Superstar Ink

When it’s all said and done, Charlotte might go down as the greatest women’s wrestler in history. WWE officials are certainly doing everything they can to present her in that light. For the foreseeable future, she’s far from calling it a career. Flair just needs a beat to recover from the surgery and then she’ll return to SmackDown Live with new goals.
