TNA is having an interesting day. On December 2nd, Ring of Honor will begin to air its weekly television program nationally on the COMET television channel. This news is fantastic for Ring of Honor, but this news means the promotion will be leaving Destination America.

According to PWInsider.com, there is some fear backstage in TNA that Ring of Honor was brought onto Destination America to prevent TNA from reaching their viewership goals. It’s possible that prevented TNA from being able to arrive at a multi-year deal with the network.

Today, Dixie Carter posted the following on Instagram:

Dixie Carter flew to Los Angeles today. The speculation is that Carter was shopping TNA to POP TV, the former TV Guide Channel, and WGN America. As of this writing, these are the frontrunners for the weekly episodes of Impact Wrestling.

There is no word on Destination America’s intention to eliminate all wrestling from their network, but TNA landing either of the rumored networks would give TNA a bigger audience for Impact every week.

In fact, TNA and WGN were negotiating before a deal was reached between TNA and Destination America. The deal fell through with WGN because they wanted TNA to stay off the air until Spring 2015.

There hasn’t been any news of how negotiations and shopping went today for Dixie Carter, but there should be very soon.
