ShowBuzzDaily.com is reporting that this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw in Dallas, Texas took in 3.356 viewers. Raw’s viewership numbers are higher than they were after last week posted a record-low of a 3.285 million viewership average.
Last night, WWE pulled out a few tricks up their sleeve to compete with Monday Night Football. Last night, Raw featured appearances from Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker and many other WWE Superstars and Divas. Last night also had special guests, WWE Legends and WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michels, Ric Flair and the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin after a four-year absence.
The following is the hourly breakdown for this week’s show:
-The first hour took in 3.600 million viewers
-The second hour took in 3.347 million viewers
-The final hour took in 3.123 million viewers
This week’s Raw was second for the night in viewership only behind the NFL on ESPN with 13.9 million viewers as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New York Giants 27 to 7. The MLB Postseason was also a strong contender on Monday night, so WWE’s final hype show for “Hell in the Cell” this Sunday did quite well all thing considered.
