“This is my retirement tour for Impact Wrestling. Good things do come to an end, and my career is coming to an end. I’ve had a great career, I’ve enjoyed every second of it, from WWE to TNA.”
The former Olympic gold medalist has been discussing his retirement a lot over the last few months and he’s become involved with Bellator before his TNA contract expires in January after TNA’s tour of the United Kingdom.
Never say never in this business, but this appears to be the end for Angle’s wrestling career as far as TNA is concerned. Obviously, advertising the retirement of Kurt Angle for TNA’s U.K tour is a money maker. It’s a win-win as Angle goes out on top and TNA’s tour gets an added boost.
Angle is one of the best technical wrestlers of all time. He’s a thirteen time World Champion in the business and he’s assisted in the great growth of both WWE and TNA over the last fifteen years. He’s had as historic of a career as anyone else in wrestling. It’s true. It’s damn true.
