The latest news to come out of Kurt Angle’s retirement tour is during Sunday night’s Impact TV tapings for TNA in Birmingham, England, Angle wrestled what very well could be his final match against Bobby Lashley in a losing effort.

In the past, Kurt Angle has made claims that his health issues are the cause of his retirement, but he’s also made claims he’s only taking a year off to heal his body and pursue other desires.

TNA has offered Angle a non-wrestling role with the company, but as of this writing, the former Olympian is a free agent.

There have been a lot of rumors about the potential for Angle to return to WWE for a final run, or even a WWE Hall of Fame induction. Although anything is possible and WWE has been making a lot of moves recently, you’ve got to believe that Angle is genuine in taking time off.

According to PWInsider.com, the former TNA and WWE World Champion is said to be in bad shape health-wise after the last few matches to end his run in TNA. Over the weekend, he had matches with Drew Galloway, Bobby Roode, and Bobby Lashley.

Over the weekend, he had matches with Drew Galloway, Bobby Roode, and Bobby Lashley. His match with Galloway gave him a concussion scare, but he was obviously cleared to finish the weekend and his Farwell Tour. Kurt Angle’s wrestling future is now in his own hands.
