Kurt Angle Wants to Bring Back “Team Angle” to WWE

Kurt Angle was admitted that he will return to WWE someday. He believes that the reason he won’t be back with WWE now that he is a free agent is his drug history and personal issues that won’t look good on with WWE’s public image.

A WWE Hall of Fame induction is a no-brainer for Angle. That will be a great honor, but what the WWE Universe wants to see is Kurt Angle back into a WWE ring competing with new talent. Apparently, that is what Angle wants as well.

According to a recent interview with “The World According to Wrestling” podcast, Angle had some ideas about his return to WWE and those involved reforming “Team Angle.”

“For me to go back (to WWE) and, if I do go back I’d love to be able to wrestle, but I know I can’t do it full time. I’m 47 years-old. And that’s why those guys (Chad Gable & Jason Jordan) would be perfect as my team, like a Team Angle, because they could do the wrestling for me until the big one comes. So it would be kind of cool to have that.

I’m not going to say those guys are going to be my guys, but they’re almost ready to come up – if not they are ready.”
