At Wrestlemania 31, Sting had his first match in WWE and his debut on the grandest stage of them all in a losing effort to Triple H. Several months later; he faced Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship at Night of Champions in another losing effort.

Many WWE fans have complained a great deal about Sting having two matches in WWE and losing them both, especially his first to Triple H at Wrestlemania.

However, Sting doesn’t feel the same way about those matches and recently shared his opinion during an interview with IGN.com.

You can read the full interview right here. Below are the highlights:

What is your reaction to your matches in WWE?

“Just fantastic. Awesome. Incredible. It was WrestleMania and Triple H. And a lot of fans, if I understand what you’re trying to say here, sort of feel ‘Are you kind of disappointed that you lost two times?’ No, I’m not. I look back and say ‘Wow, great opponent in Triple H. Biggest stage and platform of them all.’ You know, wrestling fans remember me wrestling there. I don’t think they’re walking away thinking it sucked because I should have won. Maybe for a minute. But more so they’ll remember that I was at WrestleMania. And then to have a world title match against Seth [Rollins]? Wow. I’ve been world champion many times, so it didn’t bother me.”

Do you still want to face The Undertaker?

“Uh, yeah. I’ve been very outspoken about that. Still a dream of mine.”

Does it bother you that Sting is winless in WWE?
