Lucha Underground only has a handful of female performers in their promotion, but each one is strong and defined in their own way with their own style.

No one combined those three elements to form Lucha Underground’s Sexy Star. However, it seems that there has been some trouble, and she may not be involved with the promotion any longer or AAA.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, due to several contract issues, Sexy Star has left AAA and was very unhappy with her pay in the company.

That believable because it’s not the first time those issues have been brought up with some of the company’s top talent, including Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio.

Unfortunately, AAA and Lucha Underground are tied together with a lot of their combined talent, and it is being reported that in order for Sexy Star to retain her status of LU, she would have needed to sign an exclusive AAA contract, which she was not willing to do at this time.

Thankfully, she did work several matches during last weekend’s Lucha Underground tapings, so there will be some more Sexy Star in the promotion for awhile, and maybe these money issues can be sorted out.
