However, Del Rio has been announced to face Brock Lesnar next month at The Forum, and John Cena is no longer appearing on that event. Not only that, but there have been no rumblings of the fifteen-time WWE World Champion coming back at “TLC” on Sunday.
However, Cena is due back during WWE’s Christmas tour, so he’s likely to return in a surprise at “TLC”, or shortly on WWE television afterward. Of course, John Cena will be a pivotal member of the “Royal Rumble” PPV and “Wrestlemania 32”. He’s currently rumored to be facing Roman Reigns or The Undertaker in Dallas.
Whatever way the wind blows for Cena at Wrestlemania, his schedule will be much lighter than his previous WWE schedule. As of this writing, he is not advertised for WWE live events following the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event next month.
Cena is not expected to work any of the live events between January 29th and February 10th. That’s when WWE’s tour of Germany ends. He is being advertised for the December 28th RAW in Brooklyn, NY and unless something changes, that will be his return to WWE television.
