Earlier today, Vince McMahon and WWE announced that Wrestlemania 33 will take place on April 2, 2017, in Orlando, Florida.
Vince McMahon, Roman Reigns, Charlotte, and John Cena were all attendance for the press conference and the official announcement that Orlando will be hosting Wrestlemania 33.
During the press conference, John Cena spoke passionately (as he always does) about the future of Wrestlemania and what the experience is like to perform on the grandest stage of them all.
Cena also gave the final verdict on his ability to wrestle at Wrestlemania 32 in just a few short weeks. The rumors have been claiming that Cena wrestling is unlikely, but not impossible. However, Cena put an end to those rumors with the following statement:
“You don’t know what it’s like to be in that ring surrounded by so much excitement until it’s not an option.”
I’ve suffered an injury that required some surgical repair and I have been on the bench as of late. As Wrestlemania 32 beckons, I am doing all that I can, but my position is that of a member of the WWE Universe. For the first time in a decade and a half, I will watch Wrestlemania.”
