Several months ago, we had the idea of bringing back the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to the company’s programming.

As it turns out, we weren’t first or the only ones to have that idea and it’s catching fire quickly within the wrestling world. So, much so that a WWE fan asked Triple H during this past weekend’s Arnold Classic if the titles were being brought back. He responded with this:

Sure, the answer given by The Game was a very “anything is possible” kind of answer, but we have evidence that the concept has reached him, and the possibility of there being a WWE Tag Team or a secondary title for the Divas division is more likely now than it was before.

There is a lot of talent within the Divas division right now. Many of them are left with little to do on WWE television or nothing to do because they’re not being featured due to there being only one championship in the division.

On paper, that increases competition and makes it a very valuable title. In reality, it allows WWE only truly to push one woman at a time, and the rest are left to scramble for whatever momentum they’re lucky to get on the side.

A midcard title in the Divas division would be a very good thing for it, and allow two or even three women to have something to fight for in the division.

But, a Women’s Tag Team Championship would get at least four women involved in a title hunt and give the division a lot more depth.
