WWE Could Be Planning Lana’s In-Ring Debut For Wrestlemania

Lana suffered a very bad year in WWE. Since Wrestlemania 31, she broke up with Rusev, went through a “relationship” with Dolph Ziggler that ended in a terrible feud, got back together with Rusev, and is now struggling to even get on WWE television.

It’s a shame when you consider the amount of promise she had to become a strong female character within WWE programming. Now, it seems her heat backstage has completely derailed her on-screen character.

Last night on Monday Night Raw, Lana attacked Brie Bella and has been following her around on WWE TV, which has led to some speculation that they will be facing each other in a singles match.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, he noted that Lana is not prepared to step into the ring or for a singles match, especially with Wrestlemania around the corner.

He also noted that there could be even more backstage heat on The Ravishing Russian right now. Meltzer claimed, “There’s a lot of internal stuff going on with Lana right now.”

However, it’s confusing why WWE would be setting up a feud between Brie Bella and Lana if there weren’t plans to get the latter into the ring. Wrestlemania seems like a high-pressure place to have your first match, especially if you have “backstage heat” with the company.
