This morning, WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka will be arraigned on charges of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter charges tied to the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend, Nancy Argentino.

The arraignment will be before Judge Kelly L. Banach in LeHigh Valley, PA. Today will be the first hearing for the case since last month when it was determined Snuka’s case would go directly to trial.

Jimmy Snuka is battling stomach cancer. There is genuine concern that he may not be mentally or physically able to handle the trial.

Unfortunately, the case has been open for thirty-two years. On the thirtieth anniversary of Argentino’s death, “The Allentown Morning Call” published articles about the murder. Those articles lead to a grand jury hearing and it was decided Snuka would be indicted.

The reason why the grand jury decided to convict the charges against Jimmy Snuka now is because he’s changed his stories after the original incident over the years. There is a different version that Snuka told in his book “Superfly” than what he originally offered at the initial incident.

The details of the story have also changed from Snuka admitting that he struck Argentino to her slipping and falling on her head on their car. After today, there will be more information about Snuka’s future.
