Big Update on the David Angle Murder Case

According to Allegheny County homicide detectives, David Angle was arguing with his wife Donna Angle about vodka when she attempted to get him out of their Dormont home on Sept. 20. The detectives claim that Angle dragged her off the couch, stepped on her chest and pulled her arms before she became unconscious. Angle called 911 when he couldn’t revive her.

According to WYMT, David Angle has been arraigned, and he will stand trial on the charges of murder in the first degree. WYMT is also reporting that he has waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Friday.

Olympic gold medalist and former WWE Champion Kurt Angle appeared alongside his brother in court on Friday. Kurt was seen hugging the family of his deceased sister-in-law. Due to his brother’s fame, David’s trial is receiving a lot of media attention.

David is currently behind bars. His attorney says he is awaiting a trial to present a defense. A court date for the trial has not been determined as of this writing. Given the crimes being charged and the evidence against David Angle, it’s very likely he will be convicted and be imprisoned for the rest of his life.

There haven’t been any words from Kurt on his brother’s actions or his trial. There may not be any considering how delicate a matter this is for the entire Angle family.
