This isn’t pro wrestling news. But last night, Holly Holm defeated Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 by knockout in the second round. This news is simply too earth-shattering in the sports world not to report it.

To imitate the great Paul Heyman, Holly Holm is the one in twelve and one. Rousey was unbelievable and one of the most successful fighters of all time. So many people believed that she would retire from MMA undefeated.

What Holly Holm pulled off last night will go down in history as one of the biggest upsets in fighting history. Rousey could retire from MMA now, but that’s highly unlikely. Holm vs. Rousey II is going to make epic money.

There is going to be a lot said about how cocky Ronda was getting by being the queen of MMA. A lot of people are going to disagree with some of the things she said building this fight. At the start of the fight, Ronda denied Holm of touching gloves. That was clearly a move to try to get into her head, but people will say what they will.

This rivalry is now history, and Holm vs. Rousey will most likely continue. Rousey will get her rematch, and if she can defeat Holm the second time around and win the Bantamweight Championship back, we’re looking at a trilogy for the ages.
