News on the status of Daniel Bryan’s in-ring return has been hard to find. There has been speculation. There has been a lot of speculation on Bryan’s return to a WWE ring. However, there hasn’t been anything concrete about Daniel Bryan’s status with WWE.

According to Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon is reportedly “back and forth” on the decision to bring Bryan back into the ring. The latest news coming out is that WWE and Bryan are still waiting for the opinion of a third doctor.

The main reason Vince and WWE are sceptical is WWE Doctor Joseph Maroon concluded that Bryan should never wrestle again because of his history of concussions. Bryan’s personal doctor that also works with the Arizona Cardinals has cleared him to wrestle.

It’s entirely possible that the opinion of the third doctor has already been sent to WWE and the decision has already been made. It’s likely that if Vince McMahon is still “back and forth” on the decision to let Daniel Bryan wrestle, the third doctor approved him and Vince is still unsure of giving Bryan the green light.

Daniel Bryan would be an adrenaline shot to the WWE roster right now. It would be a shocking moment to see Daniel Bryan back at “Survivor Series” in some manner.
