As phenomenal as it has been for the last few days, there has been a common complaint about how WWE is using Styles. In particular, it’s been curious that Styles has attempted to use the “Styles Clash” finisher more than once, but he hasn’t completed the move yet.
According to the Inquisitr, this has led to a lot of people assuming that WWE has officially banned AJ from using the “Styles Clash” finisher while he’s wrestling for the company.

It wouldn’t be the first time WWE has banned a move. A perfect example is when WWE banned Seth Rollins’ “Curb Stomp” because it was a finisher that focused on the head and was deemed too unsafe to perform because of the potential for injuries.
“The Curb Stomp” had no record of actually harming anyone, but it was banned all the same. When it comes to AJ’s “Styles Clash”, it is a finisher that has harmed people in the past like when Yoshi Tatsu took a bad bump on his head from it and was almost paralyzed.
It’s possible that WWE is simply teasing the move for the fans that are familiar with his history, or for the fans that are going to question what it is he keeps trying to do? NXT has done something very similar with Hideo Itami and the GTS.
NXT has done something very similar with Hideo Itami and the GTS. If the “Styles Clash” has been banned, someone is going to ask about it soon, and we’ll get the answer in the ring.
