Last night at “SummerSlam,” Brock Lesnar ended up injuring Randy Orton at the conclusion of their match. As a result of the physicality of “The Beast,” Orton required 10 staples in his head to seal the wound.

According to F4WOnline, after the match, an altercation occurred between Lesnar and Chris Jericho that got heated pretty quickly.

Apparently, Jericho went to the gorilla position after the match, which is the area right before the performers go out in front of the crowd, to see how Orton was doing. Jericho would proceed to ask Michael Hayes if that was the finish, which Hayes didn’t have an answer for. At this point, Jericho said “that is b***s***.”

As Jericho said that, Lesnar was coming back from his match. He heard Y2J make that comment, and thought that he was talking about Lesnar’s match. Lesnar called Jericho a p****, by one account, or told him to “shut up” by another account, and to mind his own business. The two then got face-to-face, and began shouting at each other.

At this point, Lesnar pushed Jericho with his fingers, in which Jericho responded with what is being described as a “Rousey-Tate”-like forehead press. One account even had Jericho shoving Lesnar into the wall.

At this point, the two got tangled up, and Lesnar egged Jericho on, telling him to either punch him or kiss him. The two were separated by Triple H, but went at it again, at which point, they were separated by Vince McMahon. Jericho started yelling something about Lesnar, but Vince said that everything was a work, and to keep things professional.

Later, Triple H told Vince that Lesnar started the whole thing, and Jericho was only standing up for himself, before more words were exchanged.

Jericho saw Orton and became angry, because he was concerned with Orton’s health and safety. Orton repeatedly assured him that he knew exactly what was coming from Lesnar.

We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become known to us.
