Eva Marie Won’t Return to WWE Until After Filming Has Wrapped On Her Movie

When Eva Marie was suspended last month for violating the WWE Wellness Policy, she was amidst a big push that could have seen her become the first SmackDown Women’s Champion in history.

Instead, Becky Lynch seized the opportunity, and Eva’s push was kaput before it ever really got started. The excuse was that her character was on vacation, so she could return after her suspension was over.

However, Eva Marie secured a major role in a new thrill film co-starring Nicolas Cage. It’s a very good opportunity for Eva to gain notoriety in Hollywood and launch a legitimate acting career.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, WWE is aware of that fact, so it’s very likely Eva won’t return to WWE programming until filming has wrapped on her movie.

Filming on her movie begins in October, so it’s possible we won’t see her back on SmackDown until late October or November. When she returns, WWE is likely to give her a major push.

Since Eva Marie is going to get genuine heat for breathing on WWE television, a feud with Becky Lynch when she returns is possible.
