Chris Jericho Talks Retirement and Possibility of Final Match

Y2J has been transitioning between music and wrestling for several years now. Fozzy has been his main focus for many years now, but he’s been wrestling very consistenty at WWE live events and still making random and surprising appearances at PPVs when the situation calls for it.

However, Jericho has been wrestling less and less the older he gets for obvious reasons, but there is the question of how the six time World Champion will hang up his boots and what kind of send off would he recieve in a final match.

Jericho recently did an interview with WhatCulture.com about a variety of topics, but the subject of a retirement match came up and Jericho had the following to say:

“”Never. There will never be a retirement match. I’ll never have one. When I’m finished, it might be a house show in Wolverhampton. When I’m done, I’ll know it and that’s it.

There will be no retirement tour, or a retirement match. There won’t a a big Wrestlemania send off. I don’t believe in that either. I think that when you’re done, you’re done and I don’t need someone to pay me on the back and tell me how great I am.

I’d rather just ride off into the sunset and disappear.
