WWE.com broke the story earlier today, Corporate Kane has been suspended by The Authority for tonight’s Raw after a series of closed-door meetings. Kane will face Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship at the “Hell in a Cell” PPV, which gives him a bye week if you will to prepare for his title match against The Architect.

On Raw last week, the Director of Operations had scheduled a Lumberjack Match between Demon Kane and Seth Rollins. This decision went directly against The Authority’s wishes. It isn’t specified if Corporate Kane’s suspension this week is a punishment for abusing his power while Triple H and Stephanie McMahon dealt with their travel arrangements last week.

WWE Champion Seth Rollins still had his hands full with The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels on the microphone and Ryback in a champion vs. champion match. Rollins would be victorious, but HBK got into Rollins’ head about “stealing the show”.

In a rare moment, Rollins would accept to reunite The Shield for one night only alongside Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to compete in the main event against The Wyatt Family that was missing Luke Harper but finally gained back Erick Rowan. The Wyatt Family would win by disqualification, but the bigger fight happens on Sunday at “Hell in a Cell.”
