The Women’s division in NXT is slowly getting a lot of fresh talent. New faces like Liv Morgan, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, and others have begun to make their mark in NXT.

During this week’s edition of NXT, Aliyah made her singles debut in NXT and the match she had with Carmella is getting a lot of praise from many within WWE and they’re excited about her potential.

According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, Aliyah, who’s real name is Jasmin Areebi, was signed back in March of 2015 and had her first singles match on NXT programming against Carmella in a losing effort.

She was featured a little bit during the “Breaking Ground” series and was seen working on her character with William Regal, but this was the first time we’ve seen her get some real attention of television.

She had appeared on NXT before in a battle royal earlier this year that Asuka won and then went on to defeat Bayley for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Speaking of Bayley, she had the following words of praise for Aliyah after her match this week:

There is a lot of time and potential in many of the women that are coming into NXT right now, and it’s going to be very interesting to see what the next crop of female talent is that comes through NXT in the coming years.

Do you think Aliyah will be a star for WWE?
