Since returning to WWE back in 2011, The Rock has wrestled or made an appearance at every Wrestlemania since Wrestlemania 27. That makes it fairly obvious that he’ll be making another appearance next year in Orlando, Florida for Wrestlemania 33.
Although the rumors continue to run about The Rock having one more match on the grandest stage of them all, the odds of that becoming a reality are unlikely due to his movie commitments, and there is a chance he may break the streak of appearances.
According to a report from Four3Four.com, The Rock’s status for Wrestlemania 33 is up in the air because he’s set to be filming “Fast and the Furious 8” from January through May. That creates a scheduling conflict that could stop him from being in Orlando.
Of course, a break from filming for one day can be worked out as it has been over the past few years when the rumor was Rock was unavailable due to his filming schedule.
The bigger question is what The Rock will be doing on the grandest stage of them all. It’ll be in Orlando, so it’s not that crazy for him to make it if he’s at home in Florida, but he just may have a very busy day for him to travel and make the appearance.
Do you think The Rock deserves to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?
