It took over a decade to build to the moment, but it was really something to see John Cena and AJ Styles in the same ring for the first time.
The two shared a moment of mutual respect, bu when Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows came out to escalate the situation, Styles brutally attacked Cena and turned heel to reform The Club.
Last week, AJ spoke to Anderson and Gallows in the ring and the trio reluctantly agreed to go their separate ways and it seemed like a feud between the three men was inevitable.
However, Cena and Styles shared a mutual respect for each other before they were interrupted by Anderson and Gallows. It seemed that there could be a tag team match set, but Styles attacked Cena and revealed that last week’s segment of the three “going their own way” was just a red herring.
Now, The Club has been reformed, and it seems like we’re going to see Cena vs. Styles sooner than we expected, and it’s most likely going to happen for the first time at “Money in the Bank” in less than three weeks.
Do you think AJ Styles turning heel and reforming The Club is a good idea?
