There’s been an update that John Cena is taking time off after the “Hell in a Cell” PPV. Cena is stepping away for six to eight weeks for personal reasons which seem to be related to Cena shooting a reality fitness based themed show for FOX as the host.

The far more interesting part of Cena’s hiatus from WWE is that he is still the United States Champion. “Hell in a Cell” is less than two weeks away, but he doesn’t have a set feud or opponent for the event.

With Cena being gone for two months, a lot of people are now curious if he’s going to pull a Brock Lesnar and take the title with him, or if he’s going to drop the title in a surprise title change. Maybe, even an interference to cost him the title.

It’s not Cena like to hold the title hostage while he does work outside of WWE. Six to eight weeks after Hell in a Cell is essentially the beginning of the Road to Wrestlemania. It’s very likely John Cena will be getting ready for the Royal Rumble match and be focused on World Title.

If Cena is going to drop the US title to a challenger at Hell in a Cell, who is it going to be the next United States Champion? Here are 7 of the best possibilities:
