1. Titus O’Neil
Titus isn’t going to be anyone’s first choice, but there is something right about Titus O’Neil taking his game to a new level. The Primetime Players aren’t doing anything right now, so Titus is free to compete. His work with charity and consistent run as a tag team specialist make him a friendly face for the WWE Universe to cheer.
He’s a familiar face, but he’s also fresh because he’s never been put in a sink or swim scenario to make it on his own. His heel turn was ill-advised because of his work outside the ring. That sends mixed signals to the WWE audience. As a face, he’s got a lot of potential to catch on. He’ll need a heel to build off. Owens is excellent for that exact purpose.
If O’Neil were suddenly skyrocketed to challenge Owens, he’d have a story to tell, and that would be a good feud to give him a chance to raise his game. Many people think Titus O’ Neil can be a big star, O’Neil vs. Owens is a perfect place to see if they’re right.
