It’s a shame what’s happened to Damien Sandow. This time last year, the crowd was red-hot for him, but he hasn’t even been on television for many months. Damien Sandow is on an endangered species list in WWE. It’s only a matter of time before he gets released and then he goes to Ring of Honor, TNA or elsewhere and blows up. The guy has an ocean of charisma and talent, but no platform to perform on which is unacceptable.

If Sandow makes a surprising return; he’ll get a huge pop. Sandow still has genuine momentum as a face because his star didn’t fade, it disappeared. He could reappear at any time and be a strong face in the midcard. The verbal sparing of Sandow and Owens would be fun, and this feud would do wonders for both men.
