5. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho 2014 Return

Kevin Owens is still a fresh talent to the WWE Universe. He’s been able to get one major win over John Cena, and other quality wins over Cesaro, Ryback and other midcard talents. The problem with building new stars is they need to win over established names to gain momentum. That fact is especially turn in heels because they are only as good as the words out of their mouth or their last big win.

Chris Jericho is a big name and his speciality is putting over younger talent. A feud with Owens would be the perfect scenario for Y2J to do what he does best. They’ve been working together on house shows, and the matches were supposedly splendid. Put Jericho vs. Owens on television and make it for the Intercontinental Championship and the value of the title will go up and so will Owens stock after he wins.
