Opinion: Emma Should Get Major Push After Wrestlemania

Why is Emma still NXT? I’ve been asking myself that question for several months now. Why is someone with her experience and talent still in NXT after years of development?

It’s easy to understand why Emma’s first run on the WWE main roster failed. The “happy dancing” gimmick didn’t get over, her childish “romance” with Santino Marella didn’t either.

She didn’t do herself any favors with the personal issues that derailed her push, but it’s been a few years, she’s been killing it on NXT as a heel, and the WWE Universe loves NXT.

I thought WWE was waiting for the post-Wrestlemania Raw to bring her to the main roster, but the company made another choice and one not so loud.

Last night on “Main Event”, Emma debuted on the main roster alongside Summer Rae to align with Team BAD and Lana to form a “new stable” in WWE.

As of now, the match will be four out of five of those heels will have a four on four tag team match with Alicia Fox, Brie Bella, Natalya, and Paige on the Wrestlemania pre-show.

It’s great to have Emma on the main roster. The faces are most likely going to get a win in this situation, but it’s also the perfect opportunity for WWE to push Emma to be a major player after Wrestlemania.

The fact is that new talents need wins. Impressive wins over real competition, and it needs to be believable. Even if it’s the preshow, Wrestlemania is a great place to do it and create a new star. I believe that star is Emma. Many people will

Many people will in Dallas won’t know Emma, many will. For the ones that don’t know her, a surprising win over Paige will get their attention, then the next night on Raw, she does it again in singles competition.

Before you know it, she’s in contention for the Divas Championship. I don’t know about you, but I’d love to watch Sasha Banks vs. Emma, Charlotte vs. Emma, or even Becky Lynch vs. Emma.

I think she would be a breath of fresh air with great ability to help improve the Divas division and create another major player to keep fans invested after Wrestlemania.
