5 Possible Partners for King Barrett’s Tag Team

1. Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel

Sometimes two is better than one. Kings are meant to have squires and knights to defend and enforce their rule upon all others. A king should be protected. Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel could be used in that role of being poor squires to Barrett’s throne.

Axel and Sandow have good comedic chemistry and could easily play the roles of poor knights that constantly fail to enforce Barrett’s rule. What’s fun is over time, they could slowly become more established knights and eventually challenge Barrett’s rule after he has become a dominate force.

Personally, I adore the idea of Axel and Sandow becoming bubbling knights of King Barrett. There is a lot of potential there for all three men to move up the ladder. Sheamus being the last King of the Ring can easily tie them together as a team.

Originally, I thought it would be difficult for Barrett to find a partner that works with him, but he’s actually got a lot of options at the moment. I’m ready for Barrett to jump into the Tag Team division. It’s a great idea.
