The problem with last night’s booking of Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella is there was no confrontation between them. The whole point of the go home show into a PPV is to build the tension to a boiling point, so people buy the event. Charlotte and Nikki Bella getting victories in separate matches with little interact doesn’t add to the fan’s intrigue.

This rematch between them doesn’t seem big. In fact, it comes off like WWE forcing the rematch clause until after “Hell in a Cell” where Charlotte can move onto Paige or Sasha Banks and finally start gaining her momentum as Divas Champion. Last night’s build for the Divas Championship is the type of booking for the weeks leading up, not for the last Raw before the PPV.
