Last night, Reigns and Wyatt were clearly in the calm before the storm. For once, they had a face to face conversation that summed up their issue. Roman is on a warpath, and Bray Wyatt created war. At “Hell in a Cell”, these two men are going to have the match of the night.

This rivalry has been long, fruitful and has genuinely helped both men. This feud has brought Bray Wyatt back into the dominate heel his character is designed to be. Roman Reigns is the one who has benefited the most from this feud. After a whirlwind start to the year, Reigns finally has some stability with his momentum as a face.

This feud is what Reigns needed from the beginning of the year. He needed a consistent and respected heel to work with over a longer period to further his rapport with the WWE Universe. Wyatt thrives in that heel role of challenging a face to become darker. Either man could get the win, but neither man is truly going to lose. That’s the indicator of a great feud culminating in a big match.
