YEAH? Important Details On LA Knight’s Current WWE Deal And Contract Negotiations

There is an issue. WWE is always looking for its next breakout star and you never know when you are going to find someone who fills the role. It might be a case where someone just gets in the right spot at the right time and WWE capitalizes on the chance. That does not mean it will all go perfectly though, and now WWE is having om issue with one of its potential next big things.

Last week, a story circulated that LA Knight was near signing a new five year extension with WWE. However, according to Fightful Select, while the two sides are negotiating on a new deal, they are said to be “far apart” on money. There was a five year deal offered, but it does not seem likely to be signed anytime soon. The lack of an extension is not expected to change any plans for Knight, whose current deal runs into 2025.

Opinion: It makes sense that WWE is going to want to keep Knight around as he is arguably the hottest thing in the company at the moment. That being said, Knight is still locked in for well over a year so it isn’t like time is of the essence. Knight feels like he is entering the biggest stretch he has ever had and if that is the case, the money will come with it soon enough.
